Tia Mowry Hardrict signs 3-picture holiday movie deal with Lifetime

Tia Mowry Hardrict turns producer for a deal with the female-centric network

Get ready for the holidays with Tia Mowry Hardrict. The former star of The Game who viewers watched grow up on TV with twin Tamera on Sister, Sister is going to be part of them for the conceivable future.

She just signed a three-picture deal with Lifetime to produce holiday movies under her production company. Mowry Hardrict has already appeared in two Lifetime holiday movies, A Very Vintage Christmas and My Christmas Inn. Her first movie under the new deal is expected to air in 2021.

“I am excited to collaborate with Lifetime both in front of and behind the camera,” Mowry Hardrict said. “Christmas is one my favorite times of the year and Lifetime Christmas movies have always encompassed that. I’m looking forward to taking my production company to a whole new level and being a part of the creative process from beginning to end.”

Mowry Hardrict, 42, also recently announced another milestone – she’s dropped 68 pounds since the birth of her daughter, Cairo. She and husband Cory Hardrict also share son, Cree.

Mowry Hardrict is now starring on the Netflix comedy Family Reunion.

In March, Mowry Hardrict shared that she was challenged by the coronavirus quarantine because of how difficult it was to juggle everything she had to do as a wife and mother. She also said that it was really hard for her to be away from her family and sister for that length of time, but credited her husband for his support.

The couple celebrate their 12th wedding anniversary this year.
