Brad Parscale’s wife told police he’s been ‘stressed out for the past two weeks’ and suicidal.
President Donald Trump’s former campaign manager is reportedly under investigation for stealing millions from the 2020 presidential campaign and Republican National Committee.
According to a DailyMail report, Brad Parscale pocketed between $25-$40 million from Trump’s 2020 presidential campaign and $10 million from the RNC, insiders told the outlet. The news follows the release of bodycam video that shows Fort Lauderdale police detaining Parscale after his wife reported that he was threatening to commit suicide on Sunday afternoon..
theGrio previously reported, Candice Parscale told authorities that her husband had guns in the home and that he had been physically violent towards her. Parscale reportedly went willingly to a hospital with the responding officers under Florida’s Baker Act, which allows police to detain someone who’s potentially a threat to themselves or others.

Candice told police Parscale had been “stressed out for the past two weeks and has made suicidal comments throughout the week to shoot himself.”
Parscale served as Trump’s campaign manager until he was demoted in July following the dismal crowd turnout at the rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma. According to a White House insider, Trump later ordered an audit of the RNC, specifically Parscale’s handling of the campaign’s money.
The source explained: “The thing about what Parscale did with the finances of the campaign could actually be totally legal. But Brad has tons of bills since his lifestyle picked up, and he sees the gravy train coming to an end.”
A Trump insider claims Parscale has been spiraling over worry about maintaining his lifestyle following his demotion.
Meanwhile, Tim Murtaugh, the Communications Director for Trump’s 2020 campaign, denied the president’s RNC probe. In a statement to DailyMail.com he said: “It’s utterly false. There is no investigation, no audit, and there never was.”

According to the report, Steve Guest, RNC Rapid Response Director, also noted: “This report is categorically false. There is no audit or investigation of Brad at the RNC.”
Parscale was reportedly earning $15,000 a month as Trump’s campaign chief, making him quite a “wealthy man,” he said.
“I make no secret about the fact that working for the Trump family made me a wealthy man well before I ever became President Trump’s campaign manager,” Parscale told DailyMail.com last year.
“The President is an excellent businessman and being associated with him for years has been extremely beneficial to my family,” he added.
